New Nordic Cluster VP for Ingram Micro

After 6 months as MD for Ingram Micro Sweden William van Kerkvoorde steps up to the challenge and enter the role as new Nordic Cluster VP for Ingram Micro. William succeeds former VP Ulrich Egeskov who after 15 years in the company decided to leave his positon in January 2018 and search for new challenges outside Ingram MIcro.

I am very proud to have got the opportunity to continue to develop Ingram Micro as the complete value added IT and Telecom distributor in the Nordic Markets.  Ingram Micro is a fantastic company with highly skilled people and a winner culture that constantly drives the company forward, towards new opportunities says William van Kerkvoorde.

William has over 20 years of experience within the IT industry and has previously had leading roles in companies like Lenovo, Hp and Compaq. Over the years William has built up a deep knowledge around sales, business development and logistics in combination with a large portion of entrepreneur and leadership skills. The main focus for Ingram Micro the last 2 years has been to build up the Nordic countries with strong leadership and skilled people together with a strong portfolio delivering a solid proposition. Beside focus on the expansion Ingram Micro has continued to develop services within fulfillment and logistics with the Zalando cooperation as the latest in line of new contracts during 2017.

Protect the Core while building the future

We will continue to have focus on increased efficiencies and innovation in our core distribution business to be able to continue delivering a best in class experience for all our partners. In parallel we will  also expand our focus on developing additional services within Cloud, XaaS and Logistics to be able to deliver competitive  solutions and business models that helps our partners to be even more successful in their business, William concludes.
